Shelf Planner AB receives EU Funding

Shelf Planner AB, a start up from Gothenburg, Sweden has been funded with the amount of SEK 300,000 from Vinnova within the project ”Innovative Startups” to develop a prototype for a revolutionary forecasting and order management software . – Shelf Planner®.

The total budget of the project is 600 000 SEK and the company will cover the other half of the costs according to the general rules of the grant. The project is expected to start in November this year and last for 5 to 6 months.

“It is so crucial for us to get financial support for this project that will support so many small businesses out around the world,” – comments Robert Cleijsen, Founder and CEO of Shelf Planner AB. – These funds enable us to start building a prototype this fall and partner up with some very interesting retailers here in the Gothenburg area, which we see as an important milestone in the company”s development.”

The purpose of the project is to build and test a prototype of our advanced predictive forecasting software for Small and Medium sized companies.

Together with 2 retailers in Sweden, a first prototype will be tested in March 2020, after which a premium version will be launched on WordPress.org

The app will include an advanced sales forecasting element and a complete order management software, using classic forecasting algorithms in combination with machine learning.

93 startup companies with innovative business ideas will share in 28 million from Vinnova.

The companies receive funding to further develop new solutions that can contribute to sustainable development and strengthened competitiveness.
